Coppersmith Recruitment, representing our esteemed client in Manchester, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join as a crucial member of the Senior Management Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering a culture of service excellence within one of our client's most prestigious cleaning and support services accounts. As the successful candidate, you will lead, inspire, and oversee the operational teams responsible for cleaning services. Your primary responsibilities include driving delivery standards, offering technical assistance as needed, and ensuring adherence to company safety, operational, and financial standards. This role aligns with the company's strategic objectives and the agreed target operating model. Key Responsibilities: Manage all operational employees on the account, handling resource management, recruitment, induction, appraisals, development, coaching, and performance management.
Conduct site quality audits to consistently achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report findings to the Managing Director and Group Operations Director.
Monitor and maintain stock levels, communicating replenishment needs promptly to the administration team.
Provide coverage for planned and unplanned absences.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and data protection requirements, both personally and by ensuring team compliance.
Exemplify company values through leadership by example.
Offer leadership, direction, and expertise to operational teams, promoting Group strategies and best business practices.
Fulfill additional works requested by the contract client, ensuring completion and accurate invoicing.
Support out-of-hours emergency works requests, briefing the client upon completion.
Mentor supervisors and operatives in delivering service excellence across the key account.
Ensure cost-effective delivery within the agreed target operating model.
Support the group strategy to retain all clients and deliver organic growth as per the Group Operations Director's agreement.
Candidate Profile: Essential: Proven track record at account/contract management level within the cleaning industry.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail.
Process-driven with experience implementing operational controls and KPIs.
Pay and Benefits: Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
