We are currently representing a prominent client in the legal sector based in Manchester, seeking a talented Corporate Solicitor to join their dynamic team. Position Overview:
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in handling a diverse range of corporate legal matters for our esteemed client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, preferably with at least 4 years of Post Qualified Experience (PQE) gained within a reputable law firm. Key Responsibilities: Conducting legal research and providing expert advice on corporate matters.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and transactional documents.
Managing and advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
Assisting clients in compliance with corporate governance requirements and regulations.
Representing clients in negotiations, meetings, and court proceedings when required.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to understand and address their legal needs effectively.
Keeping abreast of changes in corporate law and advising clients accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience: Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years of PQE in corporate law.
Strong academic background in law.
Experience gained within a reputable law firm is highly desirable.
Knowledge of corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
Skills and Attributes: Excellent legal drafting and research skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
