The position is full-time, with potential consideration for a part-time job share arrangement. As a nurse, you'll contribute your expertise to a collaborative team effort, ensuring personalized healthcare for each person to manage pain or symptoms effectively, enabling them to live life to the fullest. Our focus is on promoting independence, allowing them to engage in studies, social activities, pursue their passions, hobbies, and daily routines. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing day-to-day nursing care
- Working autonomously or collaboratively within a small nurse team
- Offering guidance on health-related matters to our teams
- Developing comprehensive health plans
- Assisting individuals with medication management
- Providing emergency nursing care when necessary
- Conducting medical procedures and protocols
- Supporting students and residents in developing the skills to manage their well-being
- Liaising with GPs, pharmacies, and consultants
- Maintaining up-to-date records and health-related documentation If you thrive in an autonomous residential setting, are confident in making acute clinical decisions, and have a desire to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you. Experience in respiratory care and the management of tracheostomy/laryngectomy is beneficial, and we're willing to provide training if needed. Compassion is essential, aligning with our team ethos. In return for your expertise, you'll enjoy a minimum of 25 days paid holiday, plus eight statutory public holidays pro-rata. We support revalidation, offering valuable experience with a provider rated outstanding by CQC. Shift patterns vary, starting from 7:30 am for early shifts and may include a 10 pm finish for late shifts, working every other weekend.
