Job Title: Warehouse Operative FLT Salary: £25,000 per annum Working Hours: 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday Job Description: Overview: As a Qualified Forklift driver and Warehouse Operative, you will play a critical role in the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklift trucks (FLT), performing general warehouse duties, and picking and packing orders. You will be a key contributor to ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and that customer orders are processed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities: Forklift Truck (FLT) Work: Operate forklift trucks to safely and efficiently move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse. Ensure that all FLT operations are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklift equipment to maintain its optimal working condition. General Warehouse Duties: Assist with receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming shipments. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring products are stored in designated locations. Keep the warehouse clean and organized to create a safe and efficient work environment. Collaborate with other team members to meet warehouse goals and objectives. Qualifications and Skills: Valid forklift truck certification. Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly with forklift truck operation, is desirable. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking and packing orders. Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy objects. Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory efficiently. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing. Safety-conscious mindset with knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
