Responsibilities: Overall Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage department.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest dining experience.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Menu Planning and Development:
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to create innovative and appealing menus.
Monitor industry trends and incorporate new offerings to meet customer expectations.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled team of servers, bartenders, and support staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
Customer Service:
Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Address customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall dining experience.
Inventory and Cost Control:
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to ensure financial targets are met.
Implement effective cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Event Coordination:
Coordinate and oversee events such as banquets, parties, and special promotions.
Work closely with the events team to ensure successful execution.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Requirements: Willingness to travel between Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard locations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Relevant degree or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
