Develop and execute a comprehensive national business development strategy to expand the company's presence in key demographic areas.
Identify and assess business opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives.
Portfolio Expansion:
Actively pursue and secure new contracts for pool construction, renovation, and maintenance projects nationwide.
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings to meet client needs and stay ahead of industry trends.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the aquatics industry, including government bodies, facility managers, architects, and contractors.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the aquatics industry.
Utilize market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.
Budget Management:
Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for business development activities.
Monitor and report on financial performance against targets.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Provide regular and detailed reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and achievements to senior management.
Qualifications: Proven track record of successful business development within the aquatics industry or a related field.
Strong network within the aquatics industry with established relationships among key stakeholders.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
Experience managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
Willingness to travel extensively nationally.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development within the aquatics industry.
Demonstrated success in securing and managing large-scale contracts.
