Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year Job description: Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor – Little Rock, AR Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Inc. is hiring on behalf of their client Location: Little Rock, AR Department: Maintenance – Coating Reports To: Electrical Maintenance Head FLSA Status: Exempt Position Overview Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Inc. is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor for their client in Little Rock. This role is responsible for coordinating and directing the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians and engineers, drive preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and support equipment reliability initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise maintenance personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and work assignment. Implement maintenance and reliability systems (PM, TPM, workplace organization, etc.). Perform and oversee electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs. Analyze breakdowns and implement corrective/preventive action plans. Ensure availability of parts, manage vendor relationships, and support in-house development of imported spares. Upgrade equipment to improve process efficiency and remove bottlenecks. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies to achieve zero recordable injuries. Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure specifications are met. Collaborate with operations management to coordinate maintenance activities and scheduling. Utilize SAP and other systems to track maintenance activities, parts, and work orders. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). 5–10 years of relevant maintenance supervision experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance techniques. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to safety and compliance standards. Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and use hands for handling equipment. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally. Vision and depth perception required for equipment inspection. Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. Typically loud work environment.
