Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Job description: Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Inc, on behalf of our client in Elmhurst, Illinois, is currently seeking a skilled Mold Maker on their night shift with a strong background in designing and crafting precision molds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD/CAM software, have experience with CNC machining and manual tooling processes, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure molds meet high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities: Design and construct high-quality molds for various manufacturing processes using CAD software. Program and operate CNC machines to create or modify parts and assemblies. Perform precision grinding, milling, and turning operations. Inspect completed molds to ensure conformance to specifications and high-quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on molds and tooling. Collaborate with design engineers and team members to enhance mold designs and troubleshoot issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards. Document mold design and maintenance procedures. Requirements: Must Haves: Proven experience in mold making and building. Experience in plastic injection molding. Experience in building new injection molds. Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand for shift durations and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. Excellent visual accuracy. Preferred Skills: Completion of apprenticeship program or trade school diploma program. Nice to Have: Apprentice experience. Candidates must be US Citizens, Green Card holders, or have No Visa restrictions. Salary: $26-$30 per hour. This is an in-office job opportunity. Years of Experience: 5+.
