About the Role
As an early SDR hire, you will work closely with the sales development team, account executives, and senior leadership to generate qualified pipeline and ultimately drive revenue. You will play a pivotal role in shaping outbound strategy, testing new approaches, building structure, and contributing to the development of a scalable sales playbook.
The ideal candidate is hungry, creative, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced environments where ownership is encouraged and high performance is rewarded. This role includes a clear pathway to promotion into an Account Executive position for top performers.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities by running high-volume, high-quality outbound outreach across email, phone, and social channels.
Qualify prospects and book meetings for the Account Executive team.
Learn the product deeply to effectively communicate value and tailor messaging to prospect pain points.
Build structure and repeatable processes that enhance outbound efficiency and improve conversion rates.
Collaborate closely with sales leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and outbound strategy.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity tracking and pipeline management within CRM systems.
Bring creativity and experimentation to the outbound motion—test new ideas, iterate quickly, and share learnings with the team.
Act as a foundational member of the sales development function, contributing to long-term scaling efforts.
Key Requirements
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or cold outbound roles (SDR/BDR preferred).
Demonstrated success securing high-value opportunities through cold outreach.
Strong communication skills—clear, direct, confident, and low ego.
A growth mindset paired with creativity and a willingness to experiment.
High level of resilience and grit; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
Ability to absorb information quickly and operate with high “clock speed”—moving fast while maintaining accuracy.
Entrepreneurial or unique high-achievement background is a strong plus (e.g., founding a project/company, winning high-level competitions, notable personal achievements).
