Pay: $36,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Job description: Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to support the expansion, engagement, and market presence of our client, a leading travel solutions provider. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the travel industry, highly connected within the local travel trade network, and skilled at developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships. You will take responsibility for driving B2B sales, strengthening brand positioning, and expanding our client’s presence by engaging travel agencies within New Jersey. Key Responsibilities Build, grow, and manage the B2B travel market within New Jersey.
Drive branding initiatives and strengthen product positioning for our client.
Generate new business opportunities, partnerships, and affiliations.
Provide ongoing support and training to existing clients.
Develop new business pipelines and generate high-quality sales leads.
Manage sales of travel-related services directly to travel agents.
Follow up on quotes, proposals, and inquiries from travel agents.
Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients while expanding the client base.
Coordinate with the operations team for pre-sales and service delivery needs.
Travel within New Jersey (up to 80%) to meet travel agencies and grow the network.
Desired Candidate Profile 2–6 years of experience in the travel industry, ideally in outbound travel.
Strong command of English and relevant local languages.
Previous experience as a Tour Consultant or similar role is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of the local travel trade, including travel agents, hotels, and destination knowledge.
Experience in selling outbound destinations.
Basic proficiency with MS Office, email communication, and internet use.
Candidates with IATA Certification or prior experience in outbound travel agencies will be given preference.
Strong existing network in the local travel community is highly desirable.
Must be willing and comfortable to travel extensively within New Jersey (up to 80%).
